I need the info that John T and Bob M have posted here before on 6 volt gen troble shooting. I printed it and put it in a folder along with all my important tractor papers and you guessed it. I cant find the folder. Thank you Paul Shuler

Thank you Bob. I'll print that off agian. After doing some checking per Johns list I found that my VR was not good. I pulled the whole thing off and took it to the shop that rebuilt the thing for me two years ago and they comfirmed. This will be it's 3rd VR. They agreed to replace it on warranty

that shop is a keeper! I hope they offered you the warranty so you didn't have to fight for it. most electrical warranties for agriculture and industry are 30-90 days at most. you are lucky.
