need some advice

I am looking at a 350 LP head and i was wondering if I would have any clearance problems. I have a H with 3 9/16ths domed pistons and a mild cam grind. Will the pistons and the values have enough clearance.

It would be hard to answer your question with any certainity. To give a ballpark answer would need the height of piston top above or below deck at top of travel. How far heads of valves are from head surface. Total valve lift. Thickness of compressed head gasket. Last if things are close you would need to know relation of valve opening to piston position and relation of dome shape to valve position.
You will be able to see all the parts and know what you have. Probably the simplest thing is to put the head on with the old gasket if thats the type you are using agian, set valve clearances and turn engine and check with clay on pistons or a dial indicator with weak springs installed on valves. Check several degrees before and after TDC if using dial indicator method. When checking turn engine slow and stop if contact is felt.

if you have real tall domes over 5/8 you may hit on a lp head. turn it over by hand and watch the gap through the spark plug hole .
