Marvel Schebler vs. Zenith

Just curiuous, I"ve got both a Zenith and a Marvel Schebler carburetor for my A and trying to decide which one to use. All things being equal, is one a better carb than the other? Does one use less gas, more powerful, easier to adjust and maintain and get parts for, etc? Thanks for your input.

The choice would be a toss-up. I can get any part for either of them, so that is not an issue either. In my opinion, the Marvel-Schebler seems to made out of a little heavier material than the Zenith, but I've never seen either crack or get broken unless abused. If it matters, the Zenith might be considered more "correct", but that would not be a deciding factor either.

The Zenith is very simple only 2 adjustments.
Idle speed and idle air/fuel mixture. Main is preset.

Marvel has 3 adjustments. Idle speed, idle air/fuel and main jet.

With an overbore main jet adjustment may be benificial for tuning.
