F 12 Power Lift

Bought this at auction. Put new sleves and pistons in motor.Fired it up but can not get lift to work.Had pto in gear and worked the little lever up and down that is located under seat and kindly beside gear shift. Rock shaft never moved. Can anyone help me? All info will be appreciated. Thank You
 
I've got one on my F14 along with the plow that goes with it. I guess we should ask the obvious - does it have oil. The reservoir under the seat has a plug and you should be able to stick your finger in the hold an reach the oil level. There are a number of seals in the unit that can go bad with time and leak out all the oil. Also you don't need to have the pto in gear to run the hydraulics. You need to have the clutch out. Just some thoughts.
 
It has some oil but maybe not enough.I will check in the moring. I got all the books I could from Rice Equip but no help on lift. Thank you for the reply. Marvin
