Distillate Manifold Stack Gasket

I have a new cast iron exhaust stack that bolts to the top my distillate SH manifold. It came with no gasket and the parts books for the H, C, SC and SH do not show a gasket. It's been a few years since I removed the old stack but I seem to remember there being the remains of a gasket stuck to it. I could be wrong. Who know's what?

I found a 3 bolt gasket from a auto application by sorting through a rack of exhaust flange gaskets at NAPA. I never knew what it fit, so I cannot give you a gasket # but the process works. JimN

There really should be a gasket there. I just bought some exhaust gasket material and made my own when I had to replace that stack on my "42 H manifold.

That's pretty much what I thought. I imagine NAPA should have some of the right stuff.
