I would like to do a 300 carb rebuilt. Best place to get it parts is? I see alot of basic kits but would like to go completely through carb. I called to have it done someplace else but seamed like to much. Would like to see if I could do the rebuild myself if I could find the parts. I've done others and it shouldn't be to hard. If anyone could direct me to kit with all the parts in it that would be great.

There are no complete kits for the Super H, 300, or 350 carburetors. Your best hope is to buy a complete kit for a Farmall M and then throw away the new choke shaft that is in the kit, because it will not work on a 300.

And while we are on the subject, how much is too much for a rebuild?
 
I was quoted 125.00 for the bench work plus the parts. I believe I can get the job done for less if I get the parts. I just can't believe that just doing a carb would be that kind of money. I have done carbs in the past for other tractors and cars and I just can't see that kind of work involved. Sound to high you? Does me.
 

$125 for the labor equates to about $75 per hour, which is the going rate for most commercial shops. You need to find a small shop with very low overhead. Like me. I can also sell you a kit if you want to do it yourself.
 
What's in the kit? Is it the basic kit or the complete kit? I would be interested. I think i can do the work myself. What #'s do you need for the kit?
