I am looking for a engine for a Farmall BN.I have one with cracked head and block.I might be able to use the block but need head for sure.What kind of options do I have if I want to put a different head (possibly engine) in the BN.I know A and B Farmall engines will interchange how about any other Farmall equipment swathers,combines,tractor or whatever. I was told a 201 swather might work can someone confirm that? Thanks

The IHC C-113 engine was used in the A, B, & C tractors same block was used in the supers as C-123. Heads might be interchangeable, not sure. There are tons of C-113 & C123 engines and parts around. Don't get stung.

Where are you located I have a c with a good block and head. I had it running last year but I think it has a spun crank bearing on one of the cylinders. Iwant to get rid of whole tractor. I am in northwest corner of ct.

Location is the big thing. I have parts for that engine laying around but shipping can be costly.

Jim: A, B and C did not have the same block. A and B had block part number 6342 DH. C and SA up to serial number 310300 used block part number 251069 R1. SA from serial number 310300 upwards and SC, 100 and 200 all used block 354898 R1 or R2. 130 and 230 used block 366204 R1 and 140 and 240 used block 367825 R1 and R2.

Some items will interchange between blocks, while others will not.
