I need help identifying and fixing a part located on left side of tractor just below battery case. It is about the size of a coke can and has linkage rods (one rod connecting to clutch). It also has 2 hydraulic lines connecting to the bottom. Has rubber boot covers on each end. Rubber boot covers are bad and oil is leaking out of end closest to clutch. Can you tell me the name of this part and if it needs some sort of kit or something to fix it?
I will appreciate anyones help.

brazos, I rebuilt my clutch assist cylinder on my 966 last fall, Kit was somewhere in the $70 range. Go head and get the upper and lower boots that keeps dirt out of the moving parts. Mine needed the top insert that threads on to the clutch rod coming from the clutch peddle. It had a lot of wear on it, It should have, since it's was new, Only in 1973. That little outfit was about $85. After you get done rebuilding yours, either you readjust your clutch/TA linkages or get a good repair man to do it for you whitch ever you are more comfortable with. Doing the adjustment on linkages is smart and will insure your clutch to have the longest life possible. It is never cheap to split a bigger tractor like a 966. Hope this helps!
