farmall cub paint

I'm getting ready to paint a Farmall cub for a friend and I am not sure about the grill and wheel color According to the serial # it was built in 1955. #193216. I just wirebrushed the rust off the grill and there is no sign of red underneath. Looks like gray or silver.----Keith

Grille was red. Front wheels including the rims were red. The rear wheel disks were red. The rear wheel rims were silver or whatever you use on rims.
