bn cultivators

I'd be willing to bet you I could figure it out if you want to ship them over here. Check photo archives and books for pictures of IH tractors of that era with mounted cultivators to get ideas. Take a picture and post it...maybe someone can get you started.

Do the lift levers have a cable that runs thru the lever assy. Are the left levers the same length or is one longer that the other as there were the three types of levers for the BN cult. Is there a rockshaft that would bolt to the rear fenders it will reach from fender to fender. Is there another lever all by itself that one would bolt to the drivers platform for the rear tooling. The three types do have different ways of mounting. you can send an e-mail as i have all three systems BN-221 BN-138 some with manual lift and some with exhaust lift.

There were different styles of lift systems, as Gene described, I think mostly changed over time. The cultivators themselves were in 3 different styles.
BN-221 -- gangs shift with steering, front sections hang from large angle iron across front.

BN-236 and BN-238 -- each side of front separate, bolts directly to sides of bolster. BN-236 has round tool bars, BN-238 has rectangular tool bars.

You can probably get the manual for any of them at Binder Books. If you have the power lift with the cable etc, it will not be covered in the cultivator manual. There was a separate mamual for that system.
