Mike, When you asked last time I thought you has double wheels. You have a single wheel I have never seen one like that. My be very early F-12
1933. There where some preproduction tractors that my have had this wheel. oldiron29

Yes those wheels are very rare, so is the weight that is bolted in the center of it. The wheels like that in the front and small hub flat spokes on the back were used on the early F-12s, some that had the Waukasha engine and than the first ones with the IH eninge. Its really hard to find them like yours where the outer part has not been cut off and a rim welded on.

Those wheels were the next generation after the stamped steel Waukesha wheels. They were not concurrent with them. They are most common on early F-12s; 1934 era. The weight is detachable and was added to address the problem of the front ends being too light on the early tractors. First the bolster was beefed up from the Waukesha type, then this weight was added to try and alleviate problems with turning. This wheel is not as rare as the Waukesha "pie pan" type but is much less common that the later double steel wheel. Very nice condition.

I would not sell it for any much less that $400. They are at least worth double the more common type in my mind. Plus they are in excellent condition which adds value. Might even ask more if you really don't have to sell it. Just my opinion!
