Does anyone have any experience using the VALSPAR paint and other miscellaneous paint products like thinner and paint hardner thats sold by Tractor Supply Company. Pro & Con.
Thanks

rick, i have painted a few tractors with valspar. it is the least costy paint system, gives decent results for what it is. i used hardener. that said, it is no where the quality of an automotive urethane, does not have u-v protection. if left in the sun and weather, it will fade over time. for a working tractor, if you dont want to spend a lot of money, and or dont want to put a lot of prep time in , it will work for you. here are a couple tractors done in valspar about 10 years ago. they are both workers, no show stoppers or trailer queens. then and now, still holding up ok.

Rick, I'll let you know. I plan on using the Valspar restoration series paint on my Super H when I paint it because I think the color is more like the old pictures than that Allis Chalmers orange stuff that they call CaseIH 2150.
