10-20 mufler /manafold

hi i have the organal mufler that gose down and out on the left side it has a 1 inch hole and it had a rusty pipe in it is this normal and on the bottem of the manafold under where the carb would mount there is a hole casted in that is threeded i dont know what these are for any info is good thank a lot i am so lost

Have any pictures? I'm far from an expert, so maybe that is the problem, but even with your great detailed description I'm really lost!

Yeah, intake manifold extension pipe. It's for the exhaust that heats the intake chamber for burning kerosene.

ok so thats the hole in the bottem of the manifold so did some one jerry rig this to come off the mufler or is that how it is do you know where i can find a good pic of this
