Block/Head restoration question

This is a question I would hope to offer a little insider information ? I am looking for a decent resource in my area I hoped maybe someone here would know.

I live in the central Indiana area and travel is normally not an issue for me. I am in the process of restoring a 54' SH and am looking for a reliable machine shop (most of what we offer here is for the race fan) that I could have the engine block and head boiled and milled if needed. I would rather have them do the head as well since I don't have all the specific tools for seating the valves.

My question: Do any of you folks know where you could point me for such help ?

Have the machine shop to install new cam bearings
after doing the block. I would have them to measure the crankshaft and supply the correct bearings. Hal

(quoted from post at 17:11:26 03/15/09) I have Rick Whetsel in Greenfield do my machine work and he has always done a good job for a reasonable price.

Do you have a contact number or method to contact this gentleman ? If so could you email this to me ?
