F20 foot brakes

Planning to put a set of factory foot brakes on my F20. It looks like I need to remove the rear wheels to get started. Am I correct? Starting to think I like the after market set I have better.
 
Yes, the brake cover needs to come off so you can pull the brake shaft out to change out the paddles. I can't remember for sure but I also seem to remember that the key is wider in the footbrake paddles than the hand brake but that isn't too hard to fix. Greg NE
