806 oil pump

Hello i am currently working on a Farmall 806 and have a few questions. I am doing a out of frame overhaul and want to install the 12 jet tubes that spray oil up to the piston sleeves. Will
my oil pump be able to keep good oil pressure with the new 12 jet tubes spraying oil? My block has no oil jet tubes in it currently but has been drilled already and has the steel balls
pressed in. My next question is will a oil cooler off a 1206 or 1256 bolt up to the D361 block and will it work fine with my oil pump unless i do have to get a different oil pump. The idea
is down the road to turbocharge the engine and i want the extra cooling capacity for the block. I have checked with case ih and with multiple salvage yards and no one seems to know if they
ran different oil pumps. My service manual say they ran the same clearances and same safety valve pressure so i am guessing they are the same pump but don't want to risk low oil pressure on

Did you read what I replied about the pump that it might have to do with volume more than pressure. Other wise I would not worry about it. The oil cooler should bolt on from a 1206. I don't know about the 1256 as they had the 407 engine in them. I do believe that is a different block. You can answer a lot of your own questions by looking at caseih website. If the part numbers are the same they will fit. Not trying to be a smart alec it is just what I do for a lot of things.

IF you would go back to your org. post you would see what i posted . A 1206 uses a different oil pump all together then a 806 , and the oil cooler on a 1206 is the same as the late 806 . now as the relief valve yep they are also different and the one for a 1206 unless you find a N OS one your out of luck . So why do you feel that you need 12 oil cooling jets ?? I hate to tell ya this but there are a ton of turboed 806's out there running with only 6 and doing well even set to 140 H.P. Also there are two different 806 engines , both have the same cu.in. but there are differences . And if you have never built a 806 and don't know the pit falls in building one then your in for and expensive education. These are not and engine you can throw together like some small block Chebby.
