The owner had told me that the right side was weak but when we took it out for a trial run there was no steering on the right at all. "humph, that's new." he says. He claims that the yoke on the brake linkage just needs to be taken up a bit.... as for me, I think it is more than that. What repairs might I be looking at? What is involved in that? Assume you need a new clutch, and price accordingly. Don"t fall into the "I"m sure it only needs an adjustment" argument. If that is all it needed, he would do it. Clutch kit runs about $650/side. It may need more free play on the T.O. bearing, but probably needs the final pulled and new clutch discs. If you get it, I will tell you how to pull the final without using a hoist. You still need to break the track. Worst case is a shelled out bullgear, but unlikely if it was weak for a time. [Reply]  [No Email]
