I am looking purchasing a JD-350 and it has a steering issue. The owner had told me that the right side was weak but when we took it out for a trial run there was no steering on the right at all. "humph, that's new." he says. He claims that the yoke on the brake linkage just needs to be taken up a bit.... as for me, I think it is more than that. What repairs might I be looking at? What is involved in that? Thanks, Cal |

| Thanks guys. I think you answered another question.... sounds like I would have to take the track, etc. off to do the repair. Seems like a Pain in the Axe. Nuts to that... or as said, adjust the price accordingly! Thanks again, Cal |

| Weak is weak, adjustment won"t help if that is the case. Assume you need a new clutch, and price accordingly. Don"t fall into the "I"m sure it only needs an adjustment" argument. If that is all it needed, he would do it. Clutch kit runs about $650/side. Lavoy |

| First try to adjust it. It may need more free play on the T.O. bearing, but probably needs the final pulled and new clutch discs. If you get it, I will tell you how to pull the final without using a hoist. You still need to break the track. Worst case is a shelled out bullgear, but unlikely if it was weak for a time. |
