The pedals are R & L brakes. They should work.
After you are used to the machine you can get by w/o them... unless you need them in an emergency situation. The brakes are almost inaccessible, the master and/or slave cyls are probably the problem. but there down in there too.
I have the diesel w/the backhoe. I have finished my clearing and building pad. Love this machine, it runs great and is simple to operate. Even Carol has driven it, when I was picking up Manzanita root/stumps.
Mine has the 4 in 1 bucket with ?ripper? teeth. I am able to use these teeth as a root rake.
Also because of our terrain, I welded grouser bars onto the track pads.
I am still a rookie. And I didn't catch the mediocre condition of the undercarriage.when I bought it. If and when, and before you buy, consider having someone who knows, l(if you don't), look at the condition of the undercarriage. I replaced all of mine. I did it myself and enjoyed the experience, to the tune of $5500.00.
have fun....sl |
