The 14a have a boster hydrolic for stering cluch and could have different brake and bevel gear |

Pretty sure the hyd booster didn't come along until a later model. 142 I think.
Major items for the 14A:
Power boosted from 68.5 to 76.
Improved injector pump.
Double fuel filter.
Cross flow head.
Pressurized radiator.
Improved water circulation.
Steering clutch booster springs.
Stronger transmission gears with better tooth ratios.
Shifter lock operated by main clutch handle.
Bonded main clutch material.
Crown shaved ring and pinion for strength.
Center strut track kinks.
There are a bunch of small differences like the seat material etc. |

| Thanks very much for that. and to everyone else who's taken the time to reply. Now we are beginning to get siomwhere with it. Found a NOS carburettor (if we need it) and the Mag is now away to be refurbished. Again thanks. Mike |
