Is the most likely culprit the o-rings on the shaft? I called the guy that installed it and he said he had some trouble sliding them on, so I am guessing that's the problem. He used some 30 wt oil and the book says to use grease. Could the oil have damaged them?

| Well first we nned to know how old the unit is or what engine..If the unit has a ac motor then he could have roled the cup seal on the drive shaft for the pump. Pretty common thing.

| AC 200. I am pretty sure that is what happened. He said he forced the seals the last little bit when he slid pump on. I have also been informed that the return line should have been blown clean or that could have caused them to leak with the higher pressure from rebuilt pump. Thanks.
