Anyone know of a good place to buy 10 of the bottom rollers for a 450 case? Are rebuilt ones any good or should i look for new ones? Thanks.

I just torn down a Early 450 before serial number 3050800 and it had 8-9 New rollers on it along with almost new sprockets I'd sell rollers for $80. each sprockets for $100 each already sold new tracks and front idlers but would qoute you on new undercarrige parts but you need your serial number to see if you are a 5 7/8 pitch or a 6 inch pitch machine.

Mine is serial 3053941 a 1974 model.A friend of mine bought it new and about 1000 hours ago replaced the sprockets and pins and bushings, but stopped there. The bottom rollers are about wearing on the pins.

That's a good price. Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts. Dave

I've got to do the whole undercarriage on my 450 sometime soon. The only thing I'm not planning on replacing are the pads.

I'm going to need new rollers, chains, idlers, sprockets and tensioners.

I was hoping to win the lottery first but I don't think I can keep the tracks on the machine much longer.

I'm planning on using new rollers instead of rebuilt units. From what I've seen you don't save much with rebuilt units.

Its looking like we are talking in the $3000-$4000 range.

Replacing everything but the pads for $4000? Good luck, I think you'd be closer to $6000 and probably more. Berco is good undercarriage but also expensive. Dave

There's some people on here that sell rollers. On smaller machines it doesn't save you any money to rebuild rollers. I'd guess that new rollers are in the $125 ea. range, give or take. You probably have some single and some double flange rollers. Check which goes where before removing the old ones. Dave
