I helped start it up and run it in the 80's. I was talking to someone about the way it started up with gasoline and when you pulled down on a lever, it changed the compression in the cylinders, and changed to diesel. It didn't have glow plugs because running on gas warms it up enough to run on diesel. The guy said it has a pony motor or only ran gas on 2 cylinders. That is not how my dad said it worked.
