Customer has a JD310C with the electric parking brake, and it will apply intermittently when operating. The switch can be in the OFF position and you start the engine you must turn on the parking brake and the turn off the brake before you can move. Is this normal. What does the switch on the dash control? Has anyone had this problem and what are some possible causes? Thank you for your help. |

| 310C had lever applied park brake so must be a 310D. Its normal to have to cycle the switch when started so it doesn"t roll away if started with switch off. Park brake is spring applied hydraulic released. The switch activates a solenoid valve that sends oil pressure to the brake actuator to release it. Intermittent actuation can usually be caused by low oil level in the reverser. |
