I have a 1944 TD6 and it runs great. It has a tilt blade and I love to play around the property with it. Yesterday when I started it, BTW it had been sittng for about two weeks, it would not shift from gas to diesel. The shift leverage appears to work fine and it is burning diesel fuel when I shift it. I had to bang the side of the shifter assy mounted to the engine and it shifted to the diesel after a few hits with a hammer. Anyone know how to fix this. I'm not sure the degree of cmplexity of removing the shifter assy from the block or what to look for. Also I'm in the market to replace the tracks if anyone has some. |

| The throttle and switch over assembly can be easily damaged. If your hammering on it, you won't need tracks! The manual has a very detailed drawing as to all the related parts and the directions as to which parts get adjusted first. NOT difficult but time consuming and way to involved for detailing here. My books are 60 miles away and won't get up there for a couple weeks. Find someone to scan the pages of the manual. I have used parts. best wishes, chuck |

| Thanks Chuck, I'll see if I can find someone with a manual. Do you know if the switching assy layout can be found online? Thanks for your reply. |
