What is a david brown 380 r/r 1143496 (tag on tool box)is 380 12270 11010683 355041-2285? One fellow thinks it may be also a david brown 885. It has heavy loader and apparently had a backhoe at one time/// What engine would this have???? |

| It is mainly just a 885. Its like the industrial version. It should have the 165 3cyl eng in it. Good little loader rig. Hope this helps Thad. |

| Yes it helps a lot!!! The main casting bolted to the motor and to the differental is broken. The top seems ok just the bottom casting. My question is the casting the same as any other case david brown as a parts yard about 100 miles away has a couple of david browns in parts?? Not a lot of scrap yards here in montana, however possibly some in alberta canada. Thats only a couple hundred miles. I am thinking of fixing the tractor for a loader rather than killing it for the engine and loader. Your help is appreciated. |
