i have recently acquired a case 930 diesel with a six speed tranny for free. but needs a new engine due to running on no oil. can i use a engine from a 8 speed transmission? and also was there any hi low setting made for a six speed for the 930? thanks for any help

| No they will not interchange. If you find another motor, i would be interested in your old block.

| no a 6spd and 8spd have different bellhousings and will not interchange
