Anyone out there know the measurements of front windsheild on a 870? Trying to have a piece of glass cut to fit.

| if you really want it I think the measuremets are in the parts books, agree that early windows may be a bit different, probly catch it from this as usual but A&I does sell window glass
|

| Tom, I just had to check A+I out of curiousity and they leave us 70 series guys out in the cold, no glass. However glass for a 2294 is listed and I thought all front windows are the same, nope. I measured the 870 and a 2294 I have in the shop now and the 870's is 2 in. shorter and a 1/2 in. or so narrower.

| Take a peice of cardboard and make a templet to take to your glass man.

| I don't know for sure but there could be a slight size difference in the windows depending on the yr 870 and whether the glass needs square or rounded corners. Where is the air filter located in your cab?

| That would be the earlier cab with more of a square corner. The make a template idea does sound like a good one to me.
