IT has been some time sense I have posted, so I will start by saying Hi and hope everybody is doing well. All the pictures are great (Nutty and others).I had the priviledge of getting to spend a few hours visiting Nick@Ky and looking over his collection of case tractors and equipment. I learned alot about my VAI and VAC. (Thanks Nick). Now for the question for the case experts,I was looking through my VAI parts catalog and noticed in the sheet metal section that it showed side engine covers. Part numbers VTA-2770 right-hand and VTA-2771 left-hand. I have never seen a VAI or any other VA series tractor with these engine covers. Were these a seldom used opition or just the first thing to get tossed to the wayside when it came time to work on the engine? Does anyone have a picture of a tractor with these engine covers installed? I would love to see it!

Don't know of a one row picker. I'd have to find two of them as I would like to own one also. Must be scarse as hens teeth. I've only seen them in pictures. Maybe someone will let us know on this forum if they own one.

When you would put a single row mounted corn picker on a VAC, it had side curtains to keep the trash out of the engine and help keep down the chance of fire. My DC with mounted IM picker has side curtains on it also.

casecollectorsc;
Have you ever seen or do you know where I could find a mounted 1 row picker for a VAC?
That implement is at the top of my wish list for VA series equipment.
Nick
