Ed in Illinois 01-22-2013 16:42:38 74.47.154.15 Report to Moderator	Thanks for the replies to my first post. I got my owners manual tonight but havent got the tractor here yet. I was reading in there about starting the tractor with fuel stop pulled to bring up the oil pressure and then pushing it and starting it. How many of you do this? I worry about forgetting to do this since none of the other tractors we have owned required this. I will try to remember but I can seeing me and Dad slipping up on this from time to time. Question 2 is I have read several posts on here and other forums about the powershift being weak in the 20 and 22's. Did I make a mistake going with the 2090? My third question is if I ever decided I needed more power would adding a turbo make this tractor the same as a 2290? [Reply]   [No Email]

The engine in my 2294 has almost 13000 hrs on it and its never been apart and it doesnt get any special treatment, other than oil changes every 100 hrs as the manual says. As for the powershift if they are used correctly and have proper maintanence done to it should do fine for you, the area where most ppl end up with problems is they dont use them correctly or abuse them and don't maintain them (filters, fluid, etc) [Reply]  [No Email]
