Case upgraded the installation of the pinion shaft with the following heavier duty parts:V-202203, Washer-Thrust gear spacer (2-1/2" OD dia, 0.1345" thick) V-20217, Washer-Spring tension (0.080" thick) V-20218, Washer- Thrust (1-5/8" OD dia., 0.164"-0.170" thick) V-21042, Spacer-1st and 2nd gears (2-1/4" OD dia., 1.300"-1.306" in length) Does any one have these parts or know where to get these parts? They were included in a Spring washer and spacer kit, VTA-1649. Gerry A. |

| Interesting. I have 7 VA series and never had any pinion problems. I've had chipped bull pinion teeth and trans gears though. |

Something from my past makes me think that there was a change from the wave washer setup to a solid selective spacer setup. You need to get with a real VAC expert on this. the later 200s and clear through the 530s used a selective spacer to set the clearance bertween the bottom shaft spacers and set the rolling torque at the same time.
