Hello,

Does anyone have an exploded parts diagram for a Dc breather. Tractor was missing the original breather, so we bought a used assembly. Apparently not all the parts are there...... Cannot figure out how the oil bowl attaches, etc.

Thanks

When my 52 DC came here 25 yrs ago ,, the breather was completely silted shut with trash oil , filth ,,. it would hardly run ,, chokin itself to death , and know onew knew why ??p-owner rebuilt carb ,, THank You ,, and then gave up and sold the DC to me ,.Dad come down to see what i Had,it was runnin ok , til i throttled up , really rich , stammering and air hissinhg , Pop told me pull off the breather pipe , we did ,,, NO SUCTION AT ALL ???,,next unscrewd the bottom reservoir,. had to take a blok of wood to knock it loose ,, and the motor took rite off like a champ ..we put the top canister in the wood furnace and burned it out...

Thanks to all for your help.... Diagram and link to diagram was exactly what I was after. DKase what would it cost to get the thumb screw/nut and all components used to hold the bottom bowl on? I have the neck from the carb, oil bowl and upper breather portion, but nothing used in securing the bottom.

Thanks again!

That's exactly what I am looking for. I am having a hard time making out detail when I save the image. Is there any way you could email it to me? Email is open. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for the help so far! Can anyone post some closeup pics of their breather. If I can get a few good pics of what it should be, I can fabricate it.

Thanks again

I am sure I have several out in the parts row if you need an original.

There is a wire bail that swings around under it to hold the oil reservoir in place.

No, not a wire bail. It is a flat iron with a threaded bolt and cast iron knob to adjust by hand.
