where can i get a rebuilt starter for a 49 case dc tractor? any other tractors with same starter?or are they a place i can buy brushes etc to rebuild it myself? |

| i have a starter shop around, the problm is, my starter broke the snought off. dont know if it can be welded back on. |

| I would call John Brillman and ask him where to get brushes. There is a link to his web site below. A starter off a Case SC looks the same, but it is different. |

| I think the DC starter may be a little longer with a larger armature and is probably more powerful. Brushes and bearings may be the same. |

| Can you explain please how the two starters are different? Brillan web page has the same rebuild kit for each and I have both but see no difference. (they are 50 miles apart and not side by side) thanks, chuck. |
