I"m going through the same ordeal.The gas manifolds use short manifold studs with retainer flats to hold the manifold in place I am using a diesel exhaust manifold but you will have to drill holes in the flange area so you can bolt it on. You will also have to lightly grind clearence for the studs between the exhaust and intake manifolds
