 Was cruising Ebay and found this tractor listed. I know by the serial it is not a 49 but take a look at the serial tag, the number 4 on this tag is done in two different number styles. Is the tag legit or is it someone trying to get more money out of a VAC row crop? |

| I though with Case serial #'s you subtract 4 to get the year, which makes it a 1956 |

| | That character difference is not that unusual. The script I believe is 2 different sizes. 3/16" vs 1/4". I believe she tried to sell this tractor a few months ago and I sent her a message about here error and she acknowledged it but here it is again. Jerry |

| looks like a "VAC"-14 to me, they may have had the tags already stamped with the serial # on them then as they assembled the tractor to order it was stamped with the model # that would be my guess as to the different style # |
