Rod, That's our old bank barn. There's a few implements stashed in the top, and I have a bunch of parts up in the loft. There was an addition added off to the left for use as a chicken house at some point. There are a few plows, a picker, and a PT combine in there now. It was originally set up as a dairy barn with a corn crib and a hay chute. The main part is all hand cut oak logs. I'm not sure exactly how old it is, but it at least goes back to the 1850s, our house is actually 18th century.

Good looking car!!!!

There used to be a blue GTX in my area.I would wait for him to leave so I could watch the air grabber hood scoop ( with the decal showing teeth on the sides)raise up when he started it.

Nick

Here's a pic of an Air Grabber hood

Here's a pic of my favorite passtime in the late 70's-early 80's

The car is a '72 Hurst/Olds with 455/turbo 400/3.91 12 bolt posi

I dont have any other pics of it handy.I got 1200 miles out of the first set of rear tires!!!!

Excellent! When I was in high school a neighbor kids dad bought a 63 Dodge with the old push button auto. In the middle of the school parking lot he put one foot on the gas, the other one on the brake and pushed the buttons through all the gears and never moved off the spot, until the principal came running after him. The old Dodge had a 413 and we couldn't see the school through the smoke. He was in big trouble with his dad for smoking the rubber off the brand new tires. Don

Drove a blue one just like that back in the 70"s. Wow I wish I still had that car! Went to an auction where they sold one like it a couple years ago - went for $76,000. I sold mine for $1,200 in "77. Makes me want to cry. ADB

those are good looking cars, I'm kinda thinking like Rod on the burning rubber, one of these days I'm going to get another Mustang so I can go lay some blackies! I haven't out grown that yet. The first car I drove was a 72 Torino with a 351C, it had Keystones and loked pretty good, I had a fairly big cam in it, I over revved it one night , broke a valve and took out the head, block and piston, wish I still had it

My fun before the tractor is and was my Mopar. I have 3 the first is my 66 Dodge Coronet I purchased in 1979 at the age of 15. The 66 remains in race trim from my days at the strip. I have a 67 Coronet R/T purchased in 1982 (shown in the photo) and I have a 67 GTX I purchased in 92 that some day will be completed. The Tractors I have restored have put that project on hold for a few year now but someday I will get back at it.

Nice looking machine! The only bad thing about the 66 and 67"s was the small rear wheel wells that you could only get a 9" tire in. I really like that angular styling. Don

You can get 11 rubber under the 66 with the right wheel and offset hangers and a little work. the hard put for me is getting past the 3 long wheel studs. The photo I have is of my 66 running today BFG draw radials. She runs 12.10's and pulls the left front about 2 inchs

I bet the philies will enjoy the creature comforts of a fully enclosed cab and heat, much more than riding double on the seat of a DC. Plus it probably has a radido, so they can rock to a Rodney Atkins songs. HeHe. Don't you wish you were 20yrs.old, again?
