I heard the geese flying over and looked out the window, and decided to take these pics. Thousands of geese here since the snow arived Sat. We have some that summer over here, but the great migration is on now, with the change of seasons. You have to look close, but the geese are everywhere in the pics. including the pink area around the moon. Between tje barns ant the moon is a 4A farm pond and down the road a couple of miles there is another, that the geese congrigate at. Two miles to our south is Otsego Lake, and lots of surounding crop land for them to forage on. The moon, nearly full tonight, has been coming over the NE horizon about 4:00PM each day. Loren |

| Seagulls, what a pain! It never fails, you wash the cab windows and they fly over and sh*t over everything. A friend always referred to them as flyin liver! |

| You guys sure have nice scenery, in Southern MN everything is brown and black, we also have seen geese going south but not in those numbers, Rod. |

| | We'll see um in the rice and milo fields down here between Winnie and Houston on I-10 in a few weeks I bet. Its amazing to drive along there and see acres upon acres of geese, snows and Canadians. You literally cannot see the ground for the geese in those spots. Plum amazin". Jim |

| Tim, Actually none do. They are nasty birds, and carry a lot of diseases to our area. Fortunatly the "change of season' came late this year. Last cuttings of Alfalfa were harvested, prior to their arival. Years back, local farmers, including us continued to make haylage, after their arival, only to end up with very sick cows when we got into the layer in the silo that was harvested, when the Geese were here. Learned that lesson the hard way. Squirls, rabbits, and partridge taste much better. In my opinion Pigons, seagulls, and geese are flying rats. Loren |
