So looking for some help with my 1956 410 Case. The rear tires on it are in poor shape and need replacing. Currently it has 14.9x39 6ply on there but judging by the Operators Manual it should have either 12x38 or 13x38"s on it. How do i know what to size tire to replace my current ones with? Will the 12x38 and 13x38 fit the same rim and if not how do I tell which size rim I have. Sorry for all the questions but this is my first tractor so I"m at a bit of a loss in figuring this out and in a machine thats 58yrs old I need some advice. Thanks! |

| Measure your rim width from bead to bead, that will be the info you need to determine which size tire you will need. The 400's that I've seen have been pretty evenly split between 14.9/38's and 15.5/38's. They take different rims and you never know if the tires on there are the right ones. So just measure your rim and ask where you buy your tires which size is right. |

You will find that a 14.9-38 tire is the same size as a 13-38 was in 1956. |
