Was thinking of putting some tires on it and seeing if it will work. Am unsure if someone removed a bottom and moved the tail wheel. Loaded out lots of them from Case branch in Sidney Ne. Most of them were sold in the 50s and 60s. Later ones had throwaway shares. Came into town loaded in RR boxcars. [Reply]  [No Email]

Everyone I ever saw had throw away lays. We have a 4-14 like that. Most everyone I have seen has broke the front furrow spindle at one time. We used to pull the 4 bottom behind the 1800 Oliver and later the 970 until Dad bought a 4-16 Oliver 565 semi mount. The Oliver pulled easier, had much more clearance and scoured easier. A Case didn't scour well in sticky soil. None the less it would look good behind one of your standards or the 1030. [Reply]  [No Email]
Case Nutty 1660 11-15-2012 02:47:00 75.127.24.27 Report to Moderator	Re: What Plow is This in reply to caseman-d, 11-14-2012 20:59:51   that's a model "A" plow Tom, you can tell it from "CNT" "CR" or "CT" models due to the horsizontial beams that look like railroad iron, they were made to be reduced if needed I have a 6-16" model "A" here that we sold new with a 1030 in 1966 they are great plows and I bet she will work fine good save cnt tom [Reply]  [No Email]
