If the shifter is in netural you can try to put it back by prying gently with a screw driver. You should be able to pry the slot to the netural position to match up with the shifter. If you have something different let us know |

| the shifter quadrants in the dash will shift to all four positions but she is stuck in fourth. I even took the cable off at trans and can feel all three detent positions. Don"t know if the fork can come out of the shifter cam. I glanced at the parts breakdown but cant tell much there. Just didnt want to tear the rear brake assembly and output shaft out if not needed. Just wondered if anyone else ran into this. is there a chance the shifter rail snap ring failed or if it could have shifted the fork far enough to come out of the cam is common. |
