 If this tag is correct for this tractor it may be the tractor model nr with a 7 digit serial nr go to the link and you may find the serial nr model year under 530. I don't know if that will work for 541 but Joe Y likely will know. Joe |

| Joe has a great point. It appears Fred Sanford (previous owner) strategically preserved the serial number plate on this beauty by bolting a bottle rocket launcher on the right side panel. It's a little concerning that the launcher is pointed aft......
Below is a complete list of serial number breaks for the post Rock Island 30 series tractors (1960-1961 430-530-630 were made in Rock Island and had serial numbers beginning with a "6". Production of these models was moved to Racine in 1962, and they were assigned serial numbers beginning with an 8 just like the bigger tractors). The list Joe reference was for the 530CK which was discontinued for the 580 in 1966/67.
Based on the rocket launcher, fenders and other slabs of steel bolted on, I'm wondering if this poor little 530 did a tour of service in eastern europe....
