Thank goodness the BK project tractor showed up today. That gives me a full house. Three of a kind, the BK's and up pair of 14's. Jon I've seen some of your stuff, I bet(no pun intended) you can put together a darn good hand. Rod. |

| A slightly different line up. The big 4 cylinder row crop models. I don't have a picture of all of them lined up but they are all here now. An 830 comfort king would represent the evolution a little better but we'll go with what we've got on hand.
CC- Doesn't belong on this farm but it happens to be in the shed now after it was brought over for a tune up. This is the only picture I have of it.
39 DC
56 400
800
830
and finally the 870

| Rod, I don't have a real BK, but spent many hrs. Demoing our 870 BK. Black Knight 870posted that when Rich sent him the build card, that his tractor was shipped to our dealership. I don't know for sure. In the pic. is the two original 1/16 scale GD and BK that we received with our order of 870s in both renderings. The Pic of the 1070 GD was sent to us by Case Co. when they launched the Demo Program, and the brass plate with my Dad's name on it is original to our 870 GD. Also picured are the recent 1170 renderings of the GD and BK, a Light Blue Spirit, and a 1270 Wheatland. Hopefully tomarrow I can Post a pair of Two of a kind, real tractors. Loren PS the second pic was an after thought. My 1/64th scale 1470 BK, scrach built 2470, a recent 1370, and an original 1070. |

Very nice collection!! What is the two-tone on the left, in the front row of the top pic. It looks like it has extra wide tires all around??
Is that a 770 narrow front with a ROPS up on the shelf in the top pic? - Joe

| Jon, The GD was the first, produced in 1970 They had Deaert Sunset cab, fenders, and grill with the gold strip over the hood, and the DEMONSTRATOR decal along the top of the cab. It has been said that the original GDs were supose to have also had black cabs like the BKs, but a comunication problem occured between the cab MFG., and Case.????? In 1971, the Black Knights came out painted totally in Satin Black with Power Red bellies, Gold striping, on cab also. Engine cubes on the side strips, rather than model/Agri King on those panals, and a Stainless Steel Muffler, and black grill screens. I also think the shifter knobs changed shape then from round to more egg shaped. Not totally sure on the timing of that change. Loren |

| I was wondering which one came first, or if they were different versions from the same year. The one demo'd on our farm was a 1070 BK. It went to a farmer about 10 miles west of us who kept it til about 10 years ago, they sold/traded it to a jockey/salvage yard near Cambridge Mn. It sat there for a while because of trany problems then was sold to a guy north of me to run his blower. He has fixed the trany and still uses it. |

| | Don All run and are used around my brother Paul's farm, and all but the 930 have been completely restored mechanically (he is working on that one). The 530 and 930 have yet to be painted. Every once in a while they get cleaned up and taken to local shows. In my opinion, its good to keep them exercised... |

| Thats real good, there all the same brand or (suit in cards) that gives you a Flush. Now your only one tractor from a straight Flush which is all the same brand with 5 consecutive no. You need a 1170 for that. Good job and pics. Rod. |

| Rod I actually have five 1660's how about seven Case swathers, I also have six or seven "DC"'s and at least sevn "SC"'s as well, WAY to many, I think it was McKerrow630 who asked this summer how many tractors I have total came to 97 or 98 not all runners but 70% or so will or does now used to think having them all was great been thinking lately it may be a curse or disease not sure which LOL cnt |
