Having a little trouble. Case 800 with eagle hitch and 5ft Howse mower. Looking for help with attaching top link to tractor. The link will fit but it sure looks like it will hit the two levers for the hydraullics right below the link holes on the rear of the tractor.

here's what I came up with. Works ok but still need the upper holes for the brush hog to lift right.

Thanks for the picture. It was a big help. Now I just have to fabricate one similar.

I had the same problem using a bale spear. If you raise the top point attachment on the implement about 6" it helps. But that screws up the 3 pt geometry even more. I built a top point anchor that fit on the PTO bolts and is just above the PTO, maybe 3-4". I just built it up out of 4" angle, works fine.

Case did not have a ood way to use 3pt and pto. I built a top link mount that bolts to pto flange and goes up behind pump. I could send a pic if you send me an e-mail.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

The tractor end goes to a bracket that bolts over the PTO shaft, If you are trying to use the top bracket on the hydraulic housing you will have issues like that and the geometry for the 3 point will be way off. Maybe someone can post a picture of the proper hookup

I dont have photo but first you should have a top
link that has one end ofset so you have more
clearance at levers when lift is lowered. Also top
link should never be parrelell with Eagle arms. Top
link should be higher than Eagle arms .( with Eagle
arms parrelell with ground top link should be higher
at rear . Extending or adding few inches to top of
implement should help that.
