I have been chaseing a lead on a CASE sign. Well I finally got the lady to show it to me (not ready to sell it yet but she showed it to me). It is about 7' 2" tall & 3' wide but it is nickle colored & very detailed. It feels like plastic but sounds like some kind of metal when you tap on it. This is not a flat sign. It is shaped just like a eagle setting on a globe with the CASE letters & you can easily see the outline of the countrys. Sorry no pics as she started to get nervous on me when I ask if I could take some pics. She told me her husband (he was a CASE mechanic) took it off a old CASE building in 1964 when they moved into there new building. I have a pretty extensive CASE memorabilia collection & have never seen one like this. What did I find. Gerald |

| I have a VERY large dealership lighted sign that came out right after the merger,it has both the case logo and the I.H. logo, I would say around 12 feet long and 5 feet tall, any interest? |

| Is this what you found? If so it's a Case Power and Equipment Eagle, much newer than the dealership eagles.

| Nutty That is very close to what I found. It is nickle colored but a little over 7 ft tall. & yes it is like the front half of a cast iron eagle that used to set in front of the dealerships but like I said it is 7' tall. If you run across any pics post them & I will have a look. Sorry I couldn't get any pics but the lady started to get nervous when I ask if I could take pics so I just dropped that idea. Nutty thanks for everything you contribute to the board. Did you get any more done on your footings for your new building. Gerald |
