Filled a 60' silo and put some corn in the pit. The 2394 chopped the corn for the silo on less than 80 gal. of diesel and the 400 blew it up on 10 gal. The 970 burned 4-5 gal/ per hour on the chopper, and the 2394 about 5-6, but the 23 used about 30 gallons less to fill the silo. Pretty efficient I think. The fact that the 400 runs so good after I did a complete engine overhaul is proof positive that any numbskull can rebuild a tractor engine. LOL The last pic is the little woman helpin me haul the loads.

Nice pics. The corn looks so green compared to the corn around these parts of NWIA. Marilyn grew up driving the baler and milking cows but I doubt if I could get here do do those jobs now. Especially the milking! Jim

Back-n-the day.........700 chopped, 530 pulled the wagons and wd45 ran the blower. Older brother and I would get out of milk'en. It took about 16 hrs. straight to fill one "blue jar" Thee ole 700 would blow afew sparks now-n-then. I'd see them 530 headlites bounce'n my way. I'd grab anothere gear( if she could handle it!!!} Jon thanks for the pic's, brings back great memory. Looks like you got some good looking help there. Sorry for rambling. God Bless

Filling silo was always my favorite job on the farm, don't do it any more, Son in Law puts corn silage in the long plastic bags.

Nice pics.!! I have two wagons just like those that Dad bought new in '79 and a gehl 1000 chopper bought a couple years later. We still use them every year ,not as much as we used to.That old forage stuff will last forever if taken care of!! Great pics. Of case stuff too.
