What are your thoughts on sealants for flared copper fuel line connections? Anybody use Teflon tape? How to make it less likely that these lines and connections will leak if I ever get to trying to start this old Case L. |

| | 1, flares don't need sealant. 2, copper is a poor / unsafe choice for a fuel line... use brake line instead... |

| | Sealants are not recommended for soft drawn copper flares. It just provides some separation that promotes leakage. You're just screwing youself. Joe |

| Teflon tape only works on plumbing pipes.fuel eats the tape. |

| However, they do have a fuel resistant tape that is yellow. Works good. However I agree, no tape on flares. |
