I have a guy trying to sell me this tractor I don't think it is a 611b?
Ser #6120493

Its a wide front, has live pto, hydro's and 3 pt. also has the 3 spd range selector (L.D.H.)
comes with a 2 bottom plow.

He is asking $2400.00

Jeff

As others have said, the pictures depict a 1956-57 Case 311 (300 series spark ignition row crop). It does not have and independent PTO (However, the hand clutch can mimic the functionality of an independent PTO). The adjustable front and rear axles make it a 311 row crop. A 310 utility/standard would have flanged rear axles and a solid front axle.

It looks like a pretty straight 311. The grill screen and insert can be had as aftermarket parts, but you'll pay about $400 or the combination.

An original top link will run from $75-$125. Figure $$250-$300 for a replacement rim. Figure $100 for seat springs and bushings, $200-$350 for the cluster rebuild, etc, etc.

$2000-$2500 would be the top end of the tractor's value around here. Even in the condition it's in (which appears to be very good), it won't be hard to to get another $1000 invested not counting paint.

Didn't ALL B series have the square bug eye look?

I think Nutty is close on price. Tractor has better than average rubber, which means a lot, & the plow looks good. Missing the coulters, actually see 1 snapped off, but the top adjuster is there, as is the land wheel. Ted Johnson in MN 612-578-1940 has replacement grill frames that he casts.

have to agree with Tim on the 311 model as a utility has a solid front axle and flanged rear axles, not a 611B as it is std shift, if she runs good mechanicly around here it would bring 1800-2000 with out the plow 250-400 for it so at least in my area price is in the ball park even with the missing tin my two cents cnt

311, if I'm not mistaken. $2400 is pricey, given the obvious things that will need repaired. The grill frame is almost non-existant.

Its a 300 utility model. Can't remember the utility model, maybe 312, could possibly be on the serial number tag. Remember, the 600 series, not the big 600, was Case-o-matic. The 500 was standard shift. You can always go to the tractor photos to refresh the model versions. Grill and sidepanels for the 300 are available as aftermarket. consult Old Abe magazine.

case 611B for sale, have not used it in about a year, has new rubber on the rear, there is a crack in 1 of the rear rims and will need replacement. comes with 2 bottom plow. will most likely need new points or convert to electric ignition. had radiator cleaned and repaired in 2009 has rear remote, live pto, 3pt hitch. 4 speed 3 range transmission.

Serial # indicates 1959 model but picture and what you describe,it definately is a 1956-7 round-nose 300.$2400 is enough in my opinion.
