Not that uncommon in Ls- LAs. A bit more uncommon for a 500, which had a great 6cyl diesel engin in it from the factory. it's a LA/ Jimmy, with 500 decals. Loren [Reply]  [No Email]

This was to be sent to scrap, but the guy was a mad machinist and swapped in a spare 4-71 he had from a scrapped road grader. He did about as good a job as you could really, the adapters worked out so the hood and front end lined up like original. [Reply]  [No Email]
