Here are some more Case pictures including some combining pictures from back in the day. The SC and DC appear to be early models judging by the steering wheel on the SC and the bolt on rear wheels on the DC. The grain truck is a Chevy cab over engine, we think a 1939 or 1940 model. The last combining picture I think they are harvesting wind damaged oats or soybeans.

Yes I think your right, I just read in Full Steam Ahead that the Case model P combines(pretty sure that its a P combine) some used crossmotor engines or Waukesha engines. There are some pictures in the book that do defiantly have C engines though, maybe later ones had the C engine. I never looked very closely at this picture but it does appear to be a flathead and the oil pan does not look like a case design from that time period.
