The SC and DC appear to be early models judging by the steering wheel on the SC and the bolt on rear wheels on the DC. The grain truck is a Chevy cab over engine, we think a 1939 or 1940 model. The last combining picture I think they are harvesting wind damaged oats or soybeans. [Reply]   [No Email]

There are some pictures in the book that do defiantly have C engines though, maybe later ones had the C engine. I never looked very closely at this picture but it does appear to be a flathead and the oil pan does not look like a case design from that time period. [Reply]  [No Email]
