Hy Guys,
Thanks for the consern, and the phone calls from Jon and Bro. I'm still alive. I have several projects on the go at once. Tore out the east wall of my house, where a 12.5'W by 5.5' wide thermo pane window failed, plus we are replacing all the siding and windowes on my dad's house. That has been dual projects in their selves, but on top of that we have had 3 unexpected deaths, and funerals, in the past week.I haven't had time yet to complete the wireing in my own house where I plug in my computer, and I have been too tired to fight with it, to post lately. The wifey has also been over her head in the garden, LOL, canning and freezing the food we will live on through next year.
Anyway, I told both Bro, and Jon, after their calls that I would post tonight. So here are the pics. of "what's Me and the wifey, been up toooo" Had to use the 300RN to move my site trailer over to dad's house. The 3pt drawbar on the 300 works really well to connect to and move the trailer without getting off the seat of the tractor.
Jon, as I told you the Oat 185A+- harvest ended yesterday, and the rest of the straw was baled today. I don't have the numbers yet.
Thanks, guys, I appreciate your conserns that I hadn't posted lately.
Loren, the Acg.

What will be happening with your fathers house?
185 acres oats! That's not normal is it? All harvested for grain?
We need some rain, so you'll have to slow down!

Bob,
The Uncles sold every oat in the bin last spring for seed, and made good money selling them for seed, as oat seed was scarce then. They usually planted about 100As, but they were looking towards next years market. The lack of rain sure affected the crop yield though. They also small baled about 900 bales of 3rd cut today.
As far as Dad's house, when my step mom no longer wants to live there or she dies, it is mine. He had set up a maintance fund to update the house, and I was to do the work if physicaly able.
As I am posting this there is a heavy T storm passing through, no wind, lots of L&T and a real heavy down pour. .55" in 20Min.
Hope you have caught some of the rain to keep the corn and beans moving forward out there.
Loren

We have been busy canning as well. I have the last run of green beans in the pressure canner as I type this. It will make us 60 quarts. Wife says that's enough beans. Corn is next.
