Well.
Monday I started removing the temporary driveway that I put in when dad came home from the nursing home. Besides that we decided to remove a 5'X70' block retaining wall that dad put in when he built the house in 52. I forgot that it started pushing and he dug behind it, pushed it back in place and poured concrete in the trench to reinforce it. I was able to gig out and bust up the wall, but I had some peices that the little KX41 couldn't begin to lift. Ended up wrapping a chain around one end of several peices, picking the end and then backing the partially tilted trailer under the end, setting it down in the trailer, and then put the chain around the end on the ground and wiggling and nudging them into the trailer. Took six loads to the woods and dumped them. Also loaded and dumped 4 loads of topsoil on site to fill low spots, three more up to the farm to fill washouts, (not from this year) LOL, plus I brought two big loads of Item #4 from the drivway to my house and used it to make a new patio in the back yard. As you can see, I have also been stacking a lot of field stone to form the patio wall. I got everything rough graded and then I had to finish it all by hand with a rake. I got me a real good tan though, Just wore a pair of canvase boat shoes, and old pair of cutoff jeans. Coulda planted tators in the shower each night when I rinced off. We also had a dieing Maple taken down 3 weeks ago. I finally got it blocked and split, and that yielded me 4.5 FC of fire wood, and a broken window in my Dodge PU, COL. Friday afternoon I pressure washed the 990, B2150 Kubota, the Trackhoe, and the Valac dump trailer. While the trailer was clean I painted it with some partial cans of paint left from when I painted the 990. It's trying to rain here, today and I'm poooped so I'm setting here posting and watching the race in NH.

We are still needing rain here in northern NY, got about a sixteenth of an inch yesterday, other then that none for weeks. If you kick the dirt the dust cloud goes on for miles!

Hay Bro,
We're playing tag again here.
Glad you had a great celebration for your Aunt. The second cut Alfalfa netted 19T from 70A. The rain that just arived from John S, will really help!!! It started hard with a couple of loud clapps of thunder and now it's settled down to a real nice moderate to heavy rate.
